The Model C Field Explorer automatic field watch is now being released for the second time in a limited quantity. We are re-releasing the original granulated black and deep blue colorways, plus three all-new variants available right now to order.
In addition, we have developed a slew of new hands. Yes, brand new hour and minute hands in black to pair specifically with our cream and black accented dial. We made four new seconds hand variants as well: all-black, jungle green, thermally treated blue, and solid white. Each pairs perfectly with this collection.
Design & Philosophy
Designed in the spirit of vintage military timepieces, the Model C field watch features a high level of water resistance, bold legibility, hacking seconds, and bright luminescence—all consistent with its true predecessors in the field.
Taking advantage of modern manufacturing technology and designing outside the parameters of a government contract, we've built the Model C in a larger format within the confines of our well-known case design, and employed a stronger power reserve.
The final product is a reminder of our brand's DNA: designing around the utilitarian lines of blocky battle tanks from the 1940s, from its sturdy, pronounced bezel into a well-proportioned 40mm "hull" for a sweet spot of balance and presence. Rounding out the piece is bold finishing like modern cafe racer style motorbikes.
