Materials That Improve With Time

 

 

 

The exterior is cut from smooth full grain leather in a deep blue green tone. It will scuff, mark, and soften. Over time, it develops a natural patina that reflects use rather than resisting it.

 

Inside, the watch rests against soft gray wool. The natural fibers provide gentle structure while minimizing abrasion against polished case flanks, brushed chamfers, and sapphire crystal edges. Wool also manages moisture more effectively than many synthetic linings, a quiet but meaningful advantage for mechanical timepieces.
